A little update

My oh my how fast the time is flying by, and obvious I haven`t been any good on the blog updates lately. I think its cos the everyday life suddenly slapped me in the face after the semester break and it has pretty much been uni-uni-uni-uni. But I`m finally done with my BA (unless ive failed some of the units, which i really hope i didnt), only took me 5 years, haha - so bring on the world.

So what has happened since the last time? Hmm..

Well my neighbours tree fell down even if it wasnt that windy outside. I found it hilarious cos it was blocking the driveway and my neighbour looked very confused - ofc I had to go get my camera and take a few pics ;)

I had my second round of the friday night dinner. Wanted to make oven baked salmon but someone (wont mention name, but he is the aussie ^^) refused to eat fish, so I got Kristine (Girl from Stavanger in my class) to help me to make homemade meatballs the norwegian style all the way from scratch - they tasted quite good, and the others were happy, so ofc I was happy as well.
Oh and that reminds me. Siri (girl in my class from Stavanger), Tonje (Siris sister whos working in melbs) and me made potato dumplings (raspeballer) - which wasnt that successfull as they dont have half the ingredients we wanted - BUT it still tasted freakin good, and I know for sure thats the first thing my mum gotta make for me when I get home. I just changed my tickets so Im coming home on the 3rd of February btw, so its just for all of you to meet me at the airport whenever it is I`m landing :D

Since Marie, Segolene, Sam, Pierre, Shelley and the rest of the crazy people left me after the first semester, and I was too lazy in the introduction week this semester to find new people I have been hanging out alot with the Norwegian people from my class. We are actually 9 (!!) Norwegians in my class. We have had alot of late nights at uni doing assignments, been going to the movies almost once a week, hanging at Jon and Bård`s place to make food and play wiii - Which I`m actually not that bad in :D and its really fun! Jon also makes the best homemade salsa Ive ever had, and is not a bad chef at all - so I cant complain :)

Ollie, Apsara and me also managed to get tickets to the BEP concert which I think despite the bad critics was really good. Will.i.am put up a really good show, and I enjoyed it from the very start till the end. An American group named LMFAO was the support band and they were freakin me hilarious. After the concert we met up with a bunch of people in the city, so all in all it was a very good night :) And as Ollie and me always roll, we had pretty good spots close to the stage this time as well :D So even I without my glasses could se what was happening. hehehehe

I also finally got the first visitors down here. Anno and co are spending 10 months in Australia backpacking and they spent a week here in melbs with me :) Since Anno also love me very much she brought me food from home, a letter from my dad and norwegian cigarettes - it felt like christmas eve!! Only bad thing was they came here before I was done with uni, so now i gotta start travelling after them afterwards unless they come back to do the Great Ocean Road with me and Anniken who is coming on hols down here in a week!!!! its gonna be legendary :D

Now that I got hols and gonna start to travel I`ll try to update my blog a bit more often, as it probably gonna happen some more exciting things now then what it has been the last months (being in the editing suits might be fun, but that not intresting to blog about i think, :P ). So cherrios my friends, missing you people back home! if i win the lottery within the next 30 days I`ll drop by in London for PKRL3 as well ;)

Roadtrippin`Queensland! Intro

Semesterbreak, after alot of hard studying, frustration, late evenings and alot of coffee we decided we needed a break.. Melboune was getting to cold, we needed some sun on our bodies! what happens when one columbian, one german, one dutch and one norwegian decide to go roadtrippin.. ? stay tuned ;)
fluffy, our camper for 12 days :) Tim and Ollie are the experiend ones while me and Tomas are virigns at the camping life.. (Not that our camper was bad tho.. we got a micro, waterboiler, toaster etcetc :) ) as soon as we picked her up in carins it was just to hit the roads! Tim and Ollie were the designated drivers, while me and tomas were the sleeping monsters in the back of the camper who only woke up for beer, food and toiletbreaks :P
Oh and yeah.. our plan.. 22nd of june we flew into cairns, 4th of July we flew back to melbourne from brizzy - inbetween.. hmm.. we wanted to see something :):) this region is what we had to work on.. we went from cape tribulation in the north till brisbane in the south.. all in all we drove 2400km with the camper + we had a 3 day boattrip in the whitsundays and rented a 4wd for 3 days on fraser island.

Cos we have experiences so much on this trip ill split it in to different blog posts :) i just need to get out of bed, have a nice shower, some breakfast and ill try to get on it :)

First semster over - my little evaluation

Well it`s been a while since I finished the first semester, but I`ve been pretty busy since then.. met so many nice people down here, so wanted to spend my time with those who are leaving after the first semester + I`ve been on hols :) I think for me the biggest difference between Oz and Norway is the amount of assignment, back home we will have fewer but bigger assignements, while here we had lots of small assignments.

Screen pratictioners was the simplest subject down here.. First assignment was to do two interviews, one had to be face-to-face while you could conduct the second however you wanted.. from the interviews you had to write an essay where you compared and analyzed the different answers. To get full pot you also had to write an self assesment and peer review. The second assignment was to write a split scrip from the interviews for a bio doc, you also had to write a few pages where you reasoned the structure, chose of visuals and audio - this also with self assesment and peer review. Not too much work to do in this unit, we didnt have to attend the classes and got my first High Distinction.

From ide to script - script development. This was probably the unit I hated the most down here, I spent so much time in the beginning trying to get out of it as I dont like script writing. The unit was pretty good tho, with a good teacher and pretty well structured. The semster started with a Self Audit and Case study where you was supposed to find out which episodes from your past had shaped you to who you are, and from that which stories you would be able to tell. From that we had to write pitch and proposal for an idea, before we started to shape out first draft from our story. We also had different editing circle where you had to give feedback on other peoples script and also write a critique. If you wanted you could have your script evaluated by an industry panel who chose the top 10 scripts to be made in the collaborating unit next semester. Me being me said thanks, but no thanks, but the rest of the Norwegians gave it a go and Soheil had his chosen. Others assignment in this class was a script alive presentation (which I never did and therefore just missed out on a Distinction, blah) and final draft of the script.

Documentary development project had the absolut best teacher, Dennis Smith. One of the most well known aussie documentary developers, and he was good. It started with an overlay assignment which was absolutt rubbish, but after everyone had done a pitch about a project we split into groups and I debated myself into the Guerilla filmmaking group which I`m really happy I did. We were gonna make a 5 mins short documentary, and we had enough footage to make probably 10 different ones and were struggeling a bit on what to focus on. In the end we made more a bio doc about the independent filmmaker Mark Bakaitis and how the guerilla filmmaking style has influenced him. This documentary was the main project in this unit, and for the last 10 weeks this was the only thing we were working on together with writing 3xsynopsis (one liner, paragraph and page) proposal and treatment for the documentary and a couple of peer assesments. I`m still waiting for the grad in this unit.. but I think we did pretty good and were in the top 3 of the documentaries that were shown in our screening.

Genre, form and structure. This was the unit where we shot of 16mm for the first time. The unit was alot about team building, but the funny part is with 7 people in a group where you are not allowed to set roles cos everyone are allowed to do everything they want - you are begging for trouble. Alot of different personalities, diffrent views on how to conduct everything and a big group so its easy to hide behind other people working and dont do much. In this unit it also were quite a bit of paper work, you had script development, 2x line producer, risk assesment, filmplan and presentation of the film + all the normal things you had to do before you go into production, script breakdown, shooting list, daysplans, light plans, storyboard etcetcetc. Alot to do in only 12 weeks, especially when you group is not too organized cos we dont have a producer or leader. One ex would be that we finished shooting about 2am in the night with 30mins to drive home, myself and the actor had to get up at 6am to do another interview for the doucmentary unit + some had to go to work so only 3 people were left to rig down the set and hand in the equipment which turned in to not be such a good idea since the equipment were only thrown into their boxes without being cleaned and the lights were packed when they were still hot and left in the car over the night.. all of this made the people of deakin a bit pissed and we got penalised with losing 5% of our project points.. I still haven`t go the grad for this unit, but I think I atleast will get a Distinction (from my own calculations from the assignments I`ve gotten back til now) and maybe hoping for something more.. but not sure yet...

This was fast what Ive been doing this semster.. I have already started the double point unit for next semester where I got to be the editor in the film project I wanted. Its a drama film about a schizophrenic main character.. is going to be intresting :) I got 1 more week of before we go into 13 intense weeks with ALOT of work.. gonna be fun :)

So much to do - so little time..

I know im not doing any good at the blogging down here.. but serious - being a student in aussie is not that chilled! Alot to do, but we are getting close. My last assignment for this semster is due June 12th and on the 22nd me, Tim, Ollie and Tomas are heading towards Cairns for some serious roadtrippin`. We have rented a camper and gonna drive down to brisbane in about 2 weeks time. im looking forward to the break - but its also gonna be a bit sad as all the exchange students are going home.. which pretty much means all the girls :(

this week has been pretty eventful tho.. weds we went to crown for poker and champions leauge final.. poker was awesome, the footie not so much.. on friday it was the stick party at stott street, saturday we went to the crown for some gambling before we hit the nightclub at the top of crown and today me and marie have been out for dinner :)

tomorrow it will be back to uni as we have one documentary which is due this week and one short film which is due next week.. + the fucking script :(

ill blog a bit after the summer trip when i acually have something exciting to write ;)

- I`ve been to Cirque du Solei - which were awesome!

- I`ve seen Xmen - wolverine - ok
- I been to the icebar! - small, cold and pretty fun.
- Studying some more
- Watching tv on Mondays only together with Marie, Ollie and sometimes Jaspi.
- Got back my first grades - and I can`t say I`m filming in HD yet :P
- Facebooking - ALOT
- Eating carrots and Holiday dip - YAY
- Been out for sparkeling with the ladies

Friday Night Dinner

Then it was my go on hosting the friday night dinner. After a few phonecalls home to my dad, I managed somehow to make something that tasted like "fårikål" - The Norwegian traditional dish - and the guys liked it - atleast they said they did ;)

Later on we had a bunch of people coming over and we played some poker. Was a fun night which went on for too long. In the end I was soooo tired that I thought I was gonna die :P Good fun, and looking forward to go to the Crown to try the cashgames there - Advice needed as I suck even more at ring games then mtts.

Shooting day

I`ve finally had my first production day down here - was so fun. This is the rooftop where we did the first part for the interview, we are making a documentary about Mark B who is an independant filmmaker in Melbourne and used to do alot of Guerrilla underground punk inspired films. Awesome guy, the project i like the most down here! Awesome view, remind me about the states with all the palms there!

When making a documentary about guerrilla filmmaking we ofcourse had to try some of it ourself. Soheil jumping fences were a pretty funny to watch - he need a bit more practice me thinks!

We finally got easterbreak down here, only 1 week later than you guys back home. The last week has been filled with Uniwork and some small social happenings. On thursday we went to Steves place for a little social gathering. Friday we went to res for a cheap potluck dinner. Was fun to just hang out with people before everyone left for their holiday tho. Yesterday we went to an AFL game which were really good!! I am starting to like AFL alot.. just to bad noone understands wtf Im on about when I sing about Torstein Helstad or Bergen By.. lol

Today I am trying something new as I`m not very successful in studying at my house - I have changed location to my 2nd home - the Stott street - So right now Sego, Tomas and me are trying very hard to study wtih various success...

Tomorrow I am off to Torquay for a few days to enjoy my beachlife and work on my surfing skills.. I hope all of you pepes are great back home - To all of you going to PKR Live 2 for the weekend - I AM JEALOUS - take lots of pictures and give everyone a hug from me xx

Surfs up!

The weeks down here goes sooo fast, way to fast! This week it has been alot of Uni stuff.. we have started planning 2 productions, one documentary and one short film + writing on 1 script and doing interviews with filmmakers for another unit, think thats the biggest difference from back home - you got soo many things going on at the same time.

Yet the weekend has been good. On friday I hung out at Peacock with a few peps, just chillin cos on saturday I was going surfing for my first time.. lol.. yeah you heard me - me doing something that include balance - funny! Well, me, Constantin and Tomas (Oliver and Christopher couldn`t make it hence sickness and visit from mum) we left early early to go to Torquay. Neither me or Constantin had ever done it before and wasn`t sure what to expect.. Had a lesson with 7 other peps, and went into the sea with 2 instructors and the other lot - lots of people to crash with as I had no controll on how to swing on the board what so ever.. BUT I did manage to get up a few times, it was good fun - so now I am only looking forward to easter! The boys did awesome tho!!

In the evening me, Jasper and Christopher went to central to go to the cinema - we saw Knowing - the latest Nicolas Cage film (Anitus, you can tell Wenche he lost his beard, looks not so old as last time, but he has starting to loose his touch on how to pick films) - I dont really know how to explain that film.. it started okey as an action thriller with a clairvoyant lady from the past that had predicted all major catastrophers in the world for the last 50 years which was an okey enough plot, but there were another storyline going with some alien being the one that told the lady how to predict etc - and it ended up as a bad bad bad sci-fi drama - YUCK. the last 30 mins could they absolutely dropped. My 2 cents atleast.

AND - since you guys back home put the clock 1 hour forward las weekend, and we put the clock 1 hour back this weekend it means during the next 6 months the time difference is only 8 hours!! Save it in your memory, aiit? :)
Well today I have to get some Uniwork done - then we are going bowling later - incentive - yeah :)

Formula 1 - YAY + aussie footie

Finally! Been waiting for this weekend since.. hmm.. a long time :D Never been to a Formula 1 race before so quite excited! Couldn`t go on Thursday as i had way to much to do at uni, so I took friday of uni without feeling any guilty at all :) The place to be this weekend is St. Albert park - close to St. Kilda :) Friday it was practice, saturday it was quali and tomorrow its the actual race :)
Rubens Barichello (Brawn) definitely got the most sexy car - prob cos mr. brown (forgot his first name, ooops) has shit loads of money, and doesnt have the car full of sponsor stickers :)
Kimi Räikkönen :D About time he win the championship.. A girl can hope right? Just not sure enough to put money on him..
Was a f16 flying around and playing in the air.. looked so funny! left a really jealous marita on the ground atleast!!
the plane was freakin loud - much more noise then the f1 cars.. and it went really low.. so not everyone of us were that happy about it.

After the 2nd practice on the friday we went to see an aussie footie game! never been to one, so was a bit curious. it was the first game of the season between hawthorn and geelong - the two team who played the final last year - so a really big game. for you peps who doesnt know aussie football, aussie footie is a mixture between american footbal, football, volleyball, basket ball, rugby and prob something else. you have 18 !! players on each team - which means, and it was quite funny - there were 6 players fighting in the middle of the game, and the rest of they players just kept playing.. hahahhaha. you play 4x 30 mins and you get points whenever you kick the ball between the poles :) 6 points for the middle ones, and 1 point for the one on the side.
think i should stop now, as i dont really know the rest of the rules.. but i do know it only looked like a bunch of people running around having fun - and it was quite entertaining to watch :)

the stadium was HUGE - takes about 100k - so a few times bigger then the stadium at home ;)

geelong kicked hawthrons ass - then the hawks came back and were in the lead for 10 mins - til they were behind with almost 50 points in the 3rd quarter - then they made a siiiiick comeback and only lost with 7 points in the end :)

Just a quick update.. Gonna hand in my first two assignments tomorrow - Kinda looking forward to get my grades on them so I know what they expect from us down here. Have been shooting some footage for our first overlay assignment in Docu, was awesome to play with a camera again :)

Shelly has fixed us some screen praticioners for the interviews we have to do, love that girl :)

Tomorrow starts Formula 1!! And I got a 4 days pass, :D:D
AND I just booked tickets for the Cirque du solei show!!!!!!!!!!

Right now, exept from me being hungry, I think life is frekin brilliant!! :)

P-Party

Shelly and Me as Peacocks :) Saturday the people living in Peacock street invited to a housewarming which also were a dressup party. You had to dress up at something that started with a P - so fun - a bit drama - french brown out day, but all in all I think everyone loved it! I am so happy I went, almost wanted to stay in bed as we didnt get home from the beach before 8pm and I was sooo tired.

Else not much has been going on this week. Uni life has started for full with so many assignments that I dont know where to start. Today I have mainly been writing assignments.. such a great was to spend a sunday eh?? But I cant really complain about my life, as I really love it! The best news of the day is that Sam wrote and email to her home University asking if she could stay one more semester, something that would be awesome :D Tomorrow I am of with Jasper to Chadston (I think its called) to do some shopping. My incentive for sitting at my desk for hours writing!

Friday Night Dinner + weekend

We have finally started our new tradition - the friday night dinner :) I think we have Tim to thank for this wonderful idea, and I feel honored to get to join you guys! The sad part tho, I am the only girl, but I am probably the worse chef of us all.. hahahahahah - don`t think you guys know what you in for! Anyway this friday we started at Tims place, and he made us some lovely pasta :) Then we headed to CBD and one of the hottest clubs CQ to celebrate Steves birthday - Think most of the people enjoyed their evening!

Saturday was Segos birthday. After going home from their house around 5.30 or so, and woken up at 10am because of some really loud thunder I felt really lazy. Sego (the little cute french on the right), Sam (the crazy american in the middle) and me went to Box Hill for lunch and grocery shopping. We had decided in the middle of the night before that we were going to have a bbq, no matter what - and it was raining so much that saturday. /typical
Well after a few hours in Box Hill we went back to their place where we made cake and cookies :) Then we chilled for maaaaany hours (which suited me perfect) before we started to bbq around 9ish (when it was a little break from the rain). None of the guys wanted to help (or maybe Pierre did a bit), but mainly it was the three of us doing it - and HAHA - they have the gas bbq here you have to light with a match or something - With alot of paper, our hearts in our trouts we manage somehow to get the bbq to work.. Well done girls! - And we didn`t starve that evening either.

Yesterday it was Steves actually birthday and we went over to his place where people order pizza and just chilled. I had been in Camberwell before having dinner with Shelly, Carolien and Apsara (some fancy place which had really good food) but we brought ice creame, so we had dessert :)

Else has the uni really kicked in - I just realized today that one semester here is only 12 weeks compared to 20 back home - so alot to do and not so much time! I am trying to write a CV as I wanna apply for an intership down here between the semesters - but they write it so weird, so me and Ollie gonna check out a course tomorrow on how to write it! Can`t hurt can it?

Ooooh, and I have made brownies today. Ki took me and Craig to the store to buy grocerys, and I pretty much ended up with cake things, potato chips and bread! LOL - Really healthy eh? Well now you know what I have been doing the last few days.. Why dont you do the same - tell me what is happening at home!!

Not impressed

Deakin is a bit mess here :( Had two days of classes now, and 3 out of 4 (I think). Cos two of our core units crashed, they withdraw us from all the classes and enrolled us one more time - they told everyone exept me and Asso - how nice of them! :( So we had alot of extra work to just figure out what was happening. What Im not happy about now is that I am back in the script class on fridays as I just manage to get out of.. But the good would be after me and Asso talking with about everyone there is to talk with at Uni we found out we are allowed to do an internship instead of one of the units and still get our degree -> we will go hunting for a place that want us :D

Else its alot to do at uni.. more for some than others.. think the biggest difference would be that the semester here are only 12 weeks.. so much to do - so litle time :(

Last day of hols :(

Today was the last day before I gonna start Uni. Was supposed to go to the beach, but the weather wasnt too great so me and Constantin decided to go to campus to check out the life there instead. Thomas had some kick ass large cards - and we played Asshole (aka presidenten in norway) - before we decided we wanted to play some volley in the blownupjumpthingy (no idea what you call it). Was great fun, and very hot! In the evening we went to the cinema at Melbourne Central to see "Watchman" - Not quite my kind of film.. Means that most of you peps back home prob will like it - so run and watch :P Now I`m off to bed as I have to put on an alarm for tomorrow! Nights X

Seen my first abnormal animal down here (compared to safe Bergen where we only got rats, gull and pigeons :P). It was two of them sitting in a tree along the sidewalk, and another lady were feeding them with tomatos "on a long thingy" (*cough* stick Sego ;) )

Else me, Steve and Nauroze spent more then 2 hours to get from Burwood to St.Kilda to go to a bbq party cos we got lost because it was two streets who had the same name that only were less then 5 mins apart by car. We were looking in the wrong street ofc, walking up and down without being able to find the housenumber! LOL

Monday = tv nights for me atleast - starts with the oz version of so you think you can dance, followed by desperate housewives and it all ends with brothers and sisters. Happy marita?? Yes i think so!! Yesterday was the first episode i had not seen before in dh tho, they way behind here!! and still have seen 1 or 2 more from brothers and sisters :( but atleast i get to see them as i cant download anything here! :( you got a limit for each month of how much you can download, so im not even sure if i can play pkr while im here :( weird aussie rules..

oh well.. right now im just waiting for constantin or lisa to come online so we can figure out if we are going to the beach or not.. tomorrow is my first day at uni, so i do wanna use this day to the max! :) tonight we a good bunch of people going to the cinema to see watchman :) gonna be fun

Moomba waterfestival

I think my biggest problem down here is that I can`t sleep enough. I go to bed around 3ish every day, and somehow I don`t manage to sleep longer then 8.30 the longest.. In my house its really easy to hear the others that lives here, specially when they take a shower as my room is next to the bathroom - and that doesn`t exactly help.
So on saturday me and Marie left early to CBD to have something to do, after having quite a heavy night out the day before at the 80s party. Marie bought some very nice ballerina shoes - and I managed to use some money as well ofc ;) Walking along Southbank I saw black swans, never seen that before. And as you can see - the yarra river is just as delicate as Thames in London - You won`t see me go for a swim there - yuck!

Erlend had been telling me earlier that it was a waterfestival at the Yarra river going on that weekend, so we decided to check it out. Was pretty cool, first we watched a waterski jump competition - think the longest jump was 64.9 meters! Then we just walked around and looked at all the things - were a scene with different bands playing - some beachvolley going on etc. Met up with Tim later to have some food before a watershow - Also met Tomas and his Uncle (I think) who also was from Colombia, and only over here for a few days to build relationsships with the Unis here - talk about a long travel!

The watershow was really good - down here its not that much about speed, its more elegant - almost like watching ballet!
The day ended with an Ok fireworks where I think I tried to take more then 100 pics from - and ended up with like 1 pic that was doable. I suck :S
Afterwards we went to PJ, met up with more people for a few drinks before we went home early to get some sleep. Then I had been in CBD for more then 12 hours, and really felt like going home!

Awesome Awesome concert! Me, Trine, Erlend and Oliver manage to get tickets to the concert last week on the ground floor + Malene and Marie who had tickets sitting up there somewhere. It were held on the Red Laver arena - also known as the tennis stadium where you have Australian open :) Not to big, and I heard rumours it were only around 15k tickets to each concert, which were great. We manage to get pretty close to the stage, only problem where that it was like 5 HUGE guys standing direct in front of us - so me and Trine had to relocate several times to see what was happening :S

It was two warmup bands which I think held a really high standard, but I gotta tell you about the blond australian girls. After the secound band when they started to rig the stage for Coldplay there were some girls talking something like "they were only on stage for 40 mins" then someone else "why are they doing that all the time" then one of the boys kindly told them that Coldplay were coming on stage now, thats why they were redoing the scene. Then one of them went "Oh, the last band - that wasn`t coldplay!! they are coming now, did you girls hear that" HAHAHAHAHA - ROFL!

The concert was a good mixture of Viva la vida and the old songs :) I`m not sure how much to tell as I know its several of you thats going when they do the european tour - BUT it was an awesome show - Coldplay and special Chris are great live! They know how to put on a show :)

I will post some pics as soon as I get them from Erlend or Oliver - cos here you were allowed to bring a camera if it wasnt a professional - which I didn`t as you never are allowed to that back home..

Monday - First day of 0week at Uni.

getting ready for the traffic light party - as green as you can get us. was thinking about getting a red as well so it works with the saying -"im green if you`re hot and red if you not" :)
campus didnt feel like a campus at all today. you had stands everywhere - free food, people walking around with costumes like the pig, live band on stage, sun and lots of nice people :) Was great to just chill out at campus.

they started to sell tickets to all the events at 9am this morning. cos i wanted to buy ticket to a surf trip where they only had 10 spots me and some other peps decided to come in early and we were there a bit before 8.30 i.e we were the first in line. i think that was my smartest move in quite a while - marie and all the other people that came along around 10ish had to be in the lane for more then 4 hours to get tickets - while we were chilling and enjoying our life :)

On tuesday we had enrollment, or atleast I thought so - but on tuesday we had 7 hours of information on where to go swimming on the beach, how to check a firealarm, that u in oz call 000 and not 911 etc. Can`t say it was the most intresting hours I`ve spent, but atleast me and Oliver manage to get some free chocolate in the end (they gave away to people that answer questions etc). Wedensday we went downtown earlyearly cos I had a few things to do, forgot how slow the tram was back - We were gonna meet up at 1pm to get more information about the course I`m taking - I was 5 mins late, and then they were done. LOL. Atleast I had Christopher filling me in on what I had missed :) Thursday we finally enrolled - but compared to Kianna (My rommie who is from the Oz) who did hers in 15 mins - we spent pretty much 3-4 hours standing in a line. Yippi - waiting, just the thing I`m best at ;) But atleast now I am enrolled, and doesn`t look too shabby. Got classes 10-18 on weds, 15-18 on thurs and 14-17 on fridays i.e. I got every monday and tuesday off :D Gives me lots of time to go travelling around :)

Friday we chilled on the beach the whole day - got back around 8ish and just relaxed watching Donnie brasco with some other international students. Yesterday we went CBD (centrum) to party and right now I`m off to the store to get the things we need to make a birthday cake. Yeah, you heard right - Me and Marie gonna make Constantin a birthday cake, even if I have no idea how to do that :S Gonna meet up later to have a barbie and just chill :) Life in Oz is just awesome ;)

Summary of first two weeks.

I`ve already been in Aussie for two weeks, its a bit crazy cos time goes so fast down here! Aussie saying like "mate" "reckon" "heaps" "no worries" are almost as frequent in my vocabulary as the locals, and they say it ALOT.

When I came to Melbourne the Uni had me prebooked into a hotel in South Yarra which was nice, but I didnt know anyone so after the 4 days I moved to a hostell in Elizabeth street which is almost as central as you get in Melbourne. Never stayed in a hostell before, always thought that was way under my standard, but some people I met said it was a really good one and people there were really friendly. The first 4 days I mainly spent househunting during daytime, and every evening I met up with the people from Uni for dinner and drinks. During my first weekend I spent the time with some french people as I already said, something that was very interesting. Tuesday Elisabeth and Solfrid (Someone from back home in Norway) came to Melbourne and I spent their 5 days visiting the city with them. After the first day Solfrid starting to feel sick and spent most of the time in bed while me and Elisabeth were exploring the city. I have been to atleast one new pub/bar/club every night so I do think I am starting to get where the good places are, and where not to go again. Transport is the best place til now (kind of like Metro back home, where u got one part with a dancefloor and also one lounge where you can sit and talk) - while I am never going back to Balcony which were purely a meatmarked. I have done some shopping, but there is still alot more to be done - I feel like I dont have clothes/shoes/bags etc here cos I were only allowed to bring 20 freaking kg - which is NOTHING. My excuse ;)

Since I already had a house in Burwood (where the Uni is, which is 40mins away from the city with tram) I had lots of time to do fun stuff only. Unfortunately was the house in a worse shape (ie lots of dust, carpets, pollution from the main road close by -> not good for my allergi) when I finally moved in on Saturday so I talked with the landlord who were kindly enough to end my contract to find a new place. Was searching all Sunday and went to look at a few places which were really bad, but also had an inspection this morning. the house I found were close to perfect. It doesnt have a swimmingpool or an bbq, but its clean, the housemates seems really nice, its furnished, we have a cleaning service every 2nd week, nice backyard, a nice neighbourhood and only a 5 min walk to campus. Right now Iam just waiting for the washing maching at the old place to be done, as I wanted to be a bit nice also and wash the bedding I have used here before I leave. So I guess my plan for today is getting settle in, go shopping a bit and buy tickets for 0week, which is the week before Uni starts when you got lots of things happening like Hollywood party, Mystery bustour (Like pubcrawl), Moviesnight, Beachparty etc.. gonna be fun, and a great way to meet new people. I am a bit jealous tho, cos most of the people I usually hang out with they are exchange students while I am an international student which means they get to go on a 3days free beachtrip away somewhere, while I have enrollment tomorrow :( Will be good tho, then I atleast will know what my schedule will look like, cos right now, I have no clue what subjects I am taking. hehe ;)

First day in Aussie

Woooa, after traveling for more then 30 hours I finally arrive in Melbourne last night at 22ish. It was late and dark when I arrived so I didn’t manage to absorbe what the city is really like. From what I could tell from the plane window is seems like a huge city, and the lights everywhere was just wonderful. It was kind of raining yesterday, so my first thought was “This is just like home.”

The flight down here wasn’t bad at all, exept the food. When going the longest distance from Amsterdam to Hong Kong me and another lady had a whole 4 seater to usself, so lots of room to comfty at. They probably had like 50+ english films to pick from, but I found out pretty fast I had seen the most of them before, so I finished reading my book (Breaking Dawn, last of the Twilight saga which I actually think is not bad at all when you are looking for an easy read). Think I scared one of the stewardess when she woke me up to serve me food, I leapt into the air and had to take a good 2 secounds to understand where I were. Lol /oops.

For the food part, I have nothing more to say then I HATE IT! One were actually so bad it almost made me throw up after just having one bit of it. It was rice rools, and it got the same consistency as shrimps, blah. But thanks to my mum that reminded me to bring some snack I didn’t starve.

The driver that took me to the hotel were a really nice guy. He showed me the Crown casino, the track where the F1 gonna be and told me lots of places I had to go. When I got into my room it was almost midnight, so I just went for a quick snack, checked my facebook and went to bed. Thought I was lucky and didn’t have any jet lag, til I woke up 3am wide awake and it was impossible to go back to sleep. (Might have something to do with lots of hours sleeping on the plane as well tho).

Just had a litle tour around in the area where I am staying right now, had a litle breakfast and now I`m trying to get ready to check out the campus to see if they can help me to find permanent housing as staying at a hotel for 1 year will make me go broke long before the year is done. Lol.

AND SHE IS BACK!

Well finally I got everything sorted (atleast all the papers), and early early Monday I`ll be off for a sick long flight down to Oz. Will leave Bergen around 6am Monday morning, to arrive in Melbourne 21.40 on Tuesday evening! Then I got 2 weeks to find a place to live, start to find my way around in the city, have lazy days on the beach and hopefully find myself a friend. lol ;)

I`ll try to keep you all posted here on my new adventures, so stay tuned!

Home sweet home

After lots of hours on a plane, not so much sleep I came finally came home to Bergen yesterday! Ingvild and Jannicke stod ready on the airport to pick me up, and I spent a great evening with them + Alekk, Øye, Chris and Tobben until I fell asleep around midnight. LOL.

Woke up 8 am all by myself and were ready for more fun. Went downtown with Chris and Kristoffer to meet Christine and get an icecream :D It was lovely, and the sun was shining. I do belive the weather was better here then San Diego today, so not complaing at all!

After picking Jannicke up from her exam reading I went out to my parents, thought it would be a good idea to say hello to them as well :) But OMG, I suck, I can`t drive a stick anymore.. think I killed the car about 100 times, guess the boys got themself a big laugh! But oh well, I didn`t crash, and got where I was supposed to go.

Tomorrow I`m going to meet the girls, atleast Anniken and Silje. Hoping Anniken are able to get in touch with the rest of them also, would be great to see them all! :)

And for the list.. I`ll start.

What am I going to miss about the US:
- All the leisure where I could do whatever I wanted to do right then.
- The weather.
- The prizes on everything, like $1 a draft, dinner for $10 etc.
- The shopping malls.
- Cold stone!
- California Burrito
- Ashley, CJ, Nemo, Shorty, Ryan and the rest of the peeps.
- How easy the University were over there.
- In a while I do belive I`m going to miss beer pong, just not right now.
- Being able to take a right turn on a red signal + not having to look at the speedometer when driving.

What am I not going to miss:
- Booze cruise.
- Beans and enchilada (?)
- Parking tickets.
- Having to pay more then what the prize tag says cos of the taxes.
- Having to think about tips as well.
- All the junkfood.

Hmm... think that was everything I could think of right now. I`d like to thank everyone that bothered to read my blog as I`ve found out most of my friends were to lazy to do it. LOL. It was fun, and come back in 6 months when I`m going down under for 1 year :)

I think there is a saying that says "everything has to come to an end," and for me, the end is not so many hours away... The plane leaves 10.55 AM to San Fransisco (San Diego time), 1.50 PM to Frankfurt. 10.50 AM on Tuesday (Norway time) from Frankfurt til Oslo, then 14.25 in BERGEN!!! :D:D:D:D

Hipp hipp hurra! Cathrine is having birthday today, and we are of course gonna celebrate big as only Norwegians do! Started early with breakfast at the eggery - And yes, all the Norwegian manage to get up for it! Now we are off to gocart - gonna be awesome as its raining outside and the lane will be slippery.. do I hear the ambulanse nearby?

Later we gonna have a bbq in the rain, before a huge party at the girls house. Sweet, means less for us to clean up tomorrow ;) I`ll try to take some pics and post them tomorrow :)

Can`t belive how fast the time have gone over here. In 1 week I`ll be back in Bergen, and I`m not sure what I feel.. Like I know I gonna miss the weather big time! But I also can`t wait to meet all my family and friends back home. I`ve really missed them!

This week gonna be super busy tho, so much to do! Today we (Casper, Eirik, Steffen and me) went to LA and Six Flag. Was soooo hot there, probably like 40++ degrees, but that meant it wasn`t that many people there so we had lots of time to do the rides. Did the Batman 3 times in a row, just didn`t bother to get off. HEHE

Tomorrow I`ll hopefull go on a dolphin safari! And sometime soon I need to finish up my shopping down here, buy a couple of new suitcases, find out where FedEX is located and send something back home. What an idiot I where that traveled down here with 2 suitcases :S (which is the limit).

I`ll try to keep you updated, and before you peeps know, I`ll be back to talk your ears off :P Till then, take care, have fun and finish your exam reading before I come home!

Oh, and another think I gonna miss about the US. Gotta brag a bit about myself. Got the grade in one of the classes today. 98% baby! Means an A :D:D:D:D Wish it was that easy to get good grades back home as well!

We had a parade down the main street to the beach where we did some tanning, some games etc.. We were bike support as we already were out on out bikes for breakfast. Wasn`t that many that showed up, but were about 40 peeps there. Enough to make a love/hate relationship with the Americans atleast.

Cos it was sooo hot on the beach, we went to the roof on hooters for some drinks. Had the best apple sour martini I`ve ever had! YUM!

Some went a bit longer then others when it came to the dressing. The hair looked better earlier tho, before he took a swim on the beach.The boys looking good for the photographer.

I`ll write this post in Norwegian cos it`s the Norwegian national day (constitution day) today, and I don`t think you other peeps that read this blog would care. :S

Så denne meldingen går ut til alle nordmenn rundtom i verden, GRATULERER MED DAGEN! Ønsker dere alle en fantastisk feiring. Her i Pacific Beach skal vi gå i tog klokken 12.00, før vi skal videre ned på stranden hvor vi skal spise dårlige pølser, is og ha leker. Så det blir litt feiring her også, og jeg gleder meg! Og til min fortvilelse og alle andre sin lettelse, det blir ingen buekorps i år :(

Went to my first baseball game yesterday, and it was boring :S Or the entertainment I got certainly wasn`t from the game. I went with 7 of the crazy norwegian boys this time, 5 of them being devoted Viking fans, so they pretty much sat there singing Viking songs where they only changed Viking with Padres. Were quite a hit in our section, where a mum infront of us said to her daughter that they should invite the boys to their games to make some noise. LOL
The field they are playing wasn`t any big. They didn`t even put on a spurt from base to base, were just jogging around. And the rules are so simple, prettly much what we used to play in primary school.

Another weekend

Had a really relaxing day today, after celebration a bit too hard yesterday. Have seen my first boxing game tho. Del la Hoya vs Forbes I think it was.. Was kinda fun to watch, and it went sooo fast. Always thought they lasted so much longer. :S

The boys went to a big ass houseparty like half a block from where we live, so I went by just to check it out. 3 keg`s in a jacuzzi, beer pong, lots of people that probably wasn`t old enough to drink, good music and a visit from the cops. What we can call a successful party. ;)

Now I just gonna relax, and probably go back to bed.. my favourite spot for the day. hehe.

And when we talking about poker.. Have to congrats Thomas on his $ 28k winnings a few days a go. His 2nd great win in a few months! Guess there is something people from Trondheim are good at, cos they definitly can`t play football :P

Got out of bed.
Washed some clothes.
Made burrito for breakfast.
Did some schoolwork.
Talked with a cute brit.
Had a few drinking games.
Went to Bar West with Natalie, Steffen and Eirik - only to find out that Steffen had forgot his id back at the house, so me and Natalie went in.
Waited for the rest (as in Hege, Casper, Jonas, Geggi, Anders, Steffen and Eirik).'
Steffen back back, so I left for the kiosk.
Heard alot of noice from across the street - went over to see a big sign with "Here is the party."
Crashed the party.
Got a beer.
Confessed I didn`t know Patrick.
Left to find the others.
Got back at Bar West only to the others standing in line and Steffen getting kicked out from the bar.
Saw Casper, Jonas and Geggi come in.
Saw Hege not getting in cos she couldn`t spell her last name in english. Ops?
Saw Anders going with Hege.
Went in and danced for hours.
Met alof of weird Swedes.
Saw Jonas almost dancing on the stage.
Found the air condition.
Danced some more.
Had a lady stepping on my foot with heels. OUCH! I got a bruise and my foot hurt.
Didn`t fancy dancing anymore, so walked home alone barefoot.
Found Hege and Anders home in the couch.
Talked lots of crap.
Went on my laptop.
And now I`m going for some food.

It`s where all the mexicans original settled down when they came to California.The graveyard to 20ish something people from the early mexicans.. They didnt find them before in the 90s.. so they burried under the main street in Old Town.

- Woke up early and went to play a poker mtt. played crap, and some muppet decided to bully me with 27 off on my bb and flopped two freakin pairs!!
- Went back home and went back to bed cos I was sooooo tired.
- Made dinner with Jonas, we made soooo much pasta that it would have been enough for the whole house + more. Too bad for them they wasn`t hungry since they eat just before.
- Saw Juno - Great movie!
- Done some homework, on a saturday! I know, gone crazy.
- And listen to our neighbours that gonna celebrate whatever day it is tomorrow with smoking 4.20 both am and pm, its the nasjonal weed day or whatever they say. hehe. And uhm, It`s Steffens birthday tomorrow! Hurra, Hurra, Hurra :)

And it has to be said that Hege is the only one in 4259 Everts that has been drinking this weekend. None of the boys!! I`m so proud of them ;)

Been a while since I posted anything last cos it has been SOOOOO hot here last days!

So what has happened last days??

1. I had my first swim in the bay.
2. I played football on the beach (both normal and american).
3. Been on a bikeride to O.B where
- I saw a man riding a bike with his arms.
- A dog beach!
- Kristin and John crashing on their bikes so Kristin cut her toe.
- Some cars getting towed cos they were getting ready to set up Farmers marked.
- Had lunch on Nicks where I got free soda.
4. Steffen and Obed decided to move to Florida. Takeoff 05 am Tuesday morning.
5. Went on a boozecruise out in the bay. Was like taking the boat to Denmark only the music was worse, the drinks more expensive and the people older.
6. I put sun block on for the first time over here, only to go outside and find out it was too cold to do any tanning.
7. I went for a run.
8. Steffen and Obed came back, only made Arizona somewhere before they got to know what Obed`s uncle had died that morning.
9. I weight myself for the first time over here.. the result was kinda depressing.
10. I had an argument with my mum on the phone.
11. I played games on facebook.
12. I`ve visit the neighbours that are no longer our neighbours in their new apartments.
13. We played some poker.
14. We had a bbq. I made kebab sticks as usual. Only thing I know how to make. LOL
15. I did some homeworks.
16. I went climbing in a tree with high heels and fell down (a bit tipsy).
17. I applied for schools back home in Norway, just in case I change my mind.
18. Been on msn - but not as much as I usual are.
19. Taken some pictures of everything and nothing.
20. Seen the squid and the whale (weird movie) and antonement (cute movie).
21. Washed some clothes.
22. Learned a new drinking game.
23. Went shopping.
24. Went to sleep.
25. Got up again.
26. Planned a trip to Hawaii, found out couldn`t go cos people didn`t have enough cash and too much to do at school.
27. I can do 0 pushups. :(
28. ordered a bra from Victoria Secret you can use in 100 different ways!
29. Played tag with Jonas on our bikes.
30. Had 9 people sleeping here in the weekend with 3 bedrooms only.. Some of the other norwegians peeps that are down here brought their bag and came camping here. LOL

Today did the last visitor leave 4259 Everts... so now we back to only the 5 of us.. gonna be more quiet now I think..

Hmm.. what has happen the last days... On tuesday we were back to school.. and found out I`ve been a bit lazy lately so got lots to do now.. The boys went to the pub while me and Cathrine stayed back home and chilled with the neighbours.. they came home with sooooo much food. It was burritos, fries, nachoes and hot sauce every where!

Yesterday we went to Espen and co up with the Uni to play some poker. Jon that has less then 30NOK had to borrow cash to the buyin and was determined to win.. after eliminated lots of people he came to HU against Espen who (if I understood it correct) doesn`t really know poker.. Since the clock passed 10 p.m and Jæren-Eirik wanted to go to the pub he made a strategy for Espen that he had to go allin in 50% of the hands.. 5 minutes later Espen had won the whole thingy and we were off to Effins..

Today we got school again.. Hurra :S Might going to book tickets for Hawaii later tho.. so this day can`t be that bad.. Just crossing my fingers that we are going!

One thing San Diego is known for is that they have the airport in the middle of the city, and the planes fly in right over all the buildings and freeway. This is from Balboa park, but I`ll take some from the freeway one day I just remember to bring the cam and some planes arrives just when we are driving by.. it`s crazy. When we came here and I was looking out the window I remember I thought we were gonna crasMe and Cathrine felt a bit cultural today and went to Balboa park today where we went to the Museum of Photographic Arts and the San Diego Museum of Art.Took some random pic in the park as well.

When we got back the boys had decided to go to the movie theater to see 21 (the newest gambling film). I thought the film was pretty good, and kinda funny to see all the places we went to while being in Vegas...

We dropped the american drinking style, and took a night drinking as norwegians. Don`t think it was the smartest thing as we had the cops on the door before 11pm :S Have to be quiet the next 24 hours or they will arrest us for something and give each a 1000dollar fine! NO WAY! that not gonna happen, that`s just crazy!

72 cups beerpong game.. had to add something to the game.. was crazy!
It was 4259 Everts vs the visitors. Short summary of the game. Eirik managed to bounce back into one of our own cups i.e. we had to drink 2 of our owns on our shot :( I kicked ass, never hit that many cups before! Even tho we lost. Think we had only 1 cup left for like 20mins.. then suddenly did Cj and the rest of the crew start to hit :(

Highlights from yesterday; They wanted to throw Casper out from the bar cos he was too drunk, he didn`t bother to argue, just said "I totally agree", and walked out on his own. Espen came back here this morning sometime, after woke up on a lawn somewhere. The livingroom look like trash after someone decided to have a food war - not sure who it was. And Steffen is kind off missing, he wont pick up his phone, his car is gone and we have no idea when we lost him :S

We went on a Movie Star hometour up there. Was cold!! The lady who sold us the tickets said it was a minibus with great aircondition - and they put us in a convertible - best aircondition I`ve ever had. Too bad we were nearly freezing to death in the end!

Today we went first to the irland Corenado which is just outside Downtown. Omg it was so beautiful there, and I found out I want to move there, or atleast to somewhere I can have a palm in my backyard :D:D We found a place that looked like a typical "country club" thingy that you always see in the movies where we had dinner. Was the best dinner I`ve had down here!! And maybe the best salmon I`ve ever tasted!

After that we went to Sunset cliffs to watch the sunset. It`s when you go things like that you realize how much you love it here...

Now I`ve just packed my bag and are ready for takeoff tomorrow morning to Hollywood. Can`t wait to find all the celebrities ;) Have some fun days peeps - and I`ll be back.

Wooohooo, the Santa finally arrived. I got lots of normal Norwegian cheese, and normal spices now!!!!! Jalla decided to double up on all the stuff, so me and Cathrine is pretty pleased now. First thing I did when he came was having a crispbread with yummy norvegia cheese! Even made some for the neighbours.. and they loved it! Jalla did great, my new hero now cos he even managed to find the deo without alcohol! :D:D And some norwegian chocolate - ain`t life great? :)

Woke up early today and was supposed to go out and work on my tan, but Jonas asked if I wanted to go to Costco (or called something like that) with him and Casper. They wanted to buy big ass shampoo etc and I wanted to see the stuff they had there since I didn`t join last time, but when we came there they told us we couldn`t enter without a membershipcard thingy, ops? We didn`t fancy paying 50buck for be allowed to shop in a store, so we went on a road trip instead of around in SD. Ended up on a Target store where I managed to spend some bucks as ususal, but I have finally bought my first bag over here :D I know some of you would say "yeah sure, first, haha." But it`s true :)

When we came home the appartment looked like shit, and since the famous Jalla is coming from Norway today we started to clean. Went pretty fast when everyone (exept Eirik, he and Nikita left for Vegas this morning) just got up of the sofa and did something. So now it looks lovely here, and I`m looking forward to see Santa Clause ^^ Me and Cathrine went nuts and gave Jalla a loooooooong shoppinglist for stuff we wanted, so now we just have to wait and see what he managed to get! hehe. I`m just praying he has normal spices and cheese with him, then I`ll be the happiest lady for the rest of the day! hehe.

Finally got around to buy a new ipod - yay. No more crappy mp3 playere where it takes 400years to import the songs :D Just bought a normal one tho, cos I will probably lose it or break it soon.. and the touch one was way to fancy for me.. lol.

John got his brother and his baby nephew on a visit, what a cute baby!! Makes me miss everyone and their crazy kids from back home, Rebekka and Benni even got a little baby girl a couple of weeks ago that I haven`t seen yet - so lots to look forward to :)

Else is out 540 class cancelled cos the teacher is sick, so don`t have class before 7pm today.. woohoo.. the whole day to be out in the sun :) in our way to the girls house now to say hi and get cathrines bike.. so laters!

The nerds, that stayed home to do homework when everyone else left the building.. ^^

Casper, Eirik and Nikita went to the movie theater, the neighbours went to Saska for drinks so me, Cathrine and Jonas was left home in Everts all by ourself when Cathrine suddenly found out she was tired of doing homework and wanted to go for a run. Jonas decided to go with her, and stupid as I am did I leave also, cos I didn`t wanna be home alone. hehe. We only went along the bay til Mission Bay Aquatic center, and crossed the roads to go along the beach on the way home. I must say I`m very impressed by Jonas, from eating so many burgers as he does, he has a kick ass shape. His condition was a bit better then Cathrines, and about 1000x better then mine.. he was running around as a maniac on the beach to make it harder for him.. LOL.

I was so beated after the run. And when we came back the boys was back from the movie theater, I thought I was done with the work out for the day.. but noooo.... we started to have a Everts strength work out doing alot of weird exercise, but it was so fun. Was laughing about 90% of the time. (And maybe 10% whining)

Today we all had to give a presentation about a technology enhanced lesson in the 470 class. Jonas did Pearl Harbour, Hege did greek mythology, Eirik had South Africa, Casper about the vikings and me and my non working brain did Europe. Think I managed to deliver the worse performance I`ve ever done.. the guys in my group were just "ok, that sounds interesting," haha. Good it`s soon spring break :D Don`t think we going to Mexico.. everyone keeps saying its so unsafe to go there right now.. but I know i gonna regret so much if I`ve lived in California so close to the border for 5 months and never went to Mexico. Might have to gamble with my life later on :P

Else is Nikita still here, think he is going to stay til Sunday, on Friday Jalla a friend of Jonas gonna come and sometimes this weekend another friend of Eirik is coming too.. so it`s starting to get crowded here ^^ Good it`s spring break as I just said and we can be out all day and do crazy american stuff.. hehe.

Think we def going back to LA for some days, have to see the Walk of fame, shake out butt in one of the clubs and go scooping for some celebrities, hehe. The boys talking about going back to Six Flag also, but think me and Hege rather gonna do some shopping or something :) Six flag is kinda - been there - done that, afraid if I go back it wont be as much fun as first time...

Think thats about it for now.. so hejhej - and boo, the one of the crazy Ockerbloom has left town :( Guess it only gives me a reason to go and visit the east coast sometimes as well. :D

been a fun day today.. the day the americans call easter.. started with a small tanning session on the beach with some of the girls, but it was so many bugs there, so we left for shopping instead in Garnet before we had a so sweet burrito for breakfast - so good :D After that I went home to chill, but then everyone else was going for breakfast so I just walked around with them and saw they had some mad ass huge breakfast eggthingy before I tricked Hege, Eirik and Nikita (a friend of Eirik from back home) to go to Cold Stone with me :D It`s so good, I love that store!!

Jonas and Casper was so hungover so they were just chillin back home when we came back - and me and Cathrine couldn`t resist to pour some water on them. Turned into a mini water war where Hege got most soaked, then I think it was a split between the boys cos after us throwing water on them, they just used the hose on themself... hehe. I got out of it almost all dry, was a bit chicken so ran into the house and just threw water on them from the entrance door. Loved something Jonas said tho, he was like if the water war was a computer game I would be the last boss you had to fight against, and you had to find my soft spot and kill me 3 times. ^^

Now in the evening we have been at the girls house for a sweet easter dinner, and some dyeing of eggs! So fun, was supposed to go on a egg hunt as well, do it the american way, but we was sooo tired, and Alyssa that was most into painting egg had a little episode with a bag gone missing and was kinda stressed out because of that. I don`t blame her, she had all her id`s, the plane ticket, her camera etc in the bag.. and she flying back to the east coast tomorrow - but someone called them back, so they went to OB to get it.. Happy for her!

well right now I gonna get into bed at watch some episodes of desperate housewives - I`ve missed them.. ;)

The girls had a birthday party for Jonas last night, was kinda funny, cos he has his birtyday in October, but it started with a joke last weekend I think. Then he changed his birthday on facebook, and when they got to know it was a joke it was too late.. Might had something to do with them having alot of friends visiting for spring break as well ;) Was crazy, when we came it was almost non people there, 10 mins later it was packed with crazy americans. :)

The beerpong champs, they were winning all night, so we know where the keg went :P Their strategi was pretty much Jonas kicking ass, he hit 5 cups in a row, and Steffen playing defence.
Me, Alyssa and Cathrine went to the liquor store to buy more cups - and what did we end up with?? Oh yeah, tequila baby.. what I blame.. ^^

The crazy Ockerbloom sisters, atleast two of them. Alyssa is soooo cute! Wish she didn`t have to go back to cold Boston on tuesday...The norwegian sandwich - literally for atleast one night. Espen decided to crash in mine and Cathrines huge bed and tried to blame me afterwards cos I "invited" him.. loooooolCrystal and Cody, Kristins friends from back east :) Cody found me a book about zodiacs - was fun to read. And just a notice to you guys, I`m a scorpio, be afraid - I`m very revengeful, and don`t forget easily.

OOh and I have to post a picture of the result from the night. Espen got a parking ticket cos he had parked the wrong way. HAHA. And Steffen woke us up around 10ish saying something like I`ve just spent the night in jail, I need a beer. Noone really knows what happend, how he ended up there, but we think it had something to do with a fight against a french dude and being wayyyyy to drunk.. hehe

The americans are crazy, woke up at 9am cos Ashley and Becka was outside yelling and using their horn. They were here to pick up Alyssa (the last Ockerblom, Renne`s sister that had crashed at our place after last night out). The crazy girls had decided to steal the convertible that Cody and Krystal are renting (some friends of Kristin that are staying at their place) while they still were asleep, so we went out crusing in La Jolla. :) Having a look at all the rich peoples houses, and went to the cove to see the seals. Look at this cute house. I wanna live in a round house as well!!

Afterwards we went back to the girls house to make some really good breakfast burritos, ain`t life just great! Too bad I got classes today, but we going back later to paint some eggs for easter. Gonna be soo fun :)

last days

On friday we were on Sweetwater high school in National City. Was really impressed, it was a really poor school, and as it is really close to the boarder it was more then 80% that had spanish as their first language, but they had the most well behaved kids I`ve ever seen. Was kinda funny, cos even if they told that they didn`t really use the red lockers anymore, they still had them, and the kids had to dress up for PA in similar clothes. In National City they have school for 9 weeks, then 4 weeks off etc, so the day we were there it was the last before a holiday, and all the students was dressed up depending on what grade they were in - like someone was geeks, some was sport idiots etc. At the end of the day they were gonna have a cermony in the gym, where they gave out prizes for different things.

On the evening we kinda had a norwegian party, with some norwegians that we have meet down here, and drinking games where it was alot of pounding. Kyle (our neighbour) left after a while cos he couldn`t keep up, this he for once was right when he said crazy norwegians :P

Saturday was kinda quiet, they boys had another drinking session, while us girls had a lazy and quiet saturday night where me and Cathrine visited Ashley and Renee and saw a movie, and just chilled afterwards.

Today I have not been doing much. Been to the outlet by the border, you lots of stores there with brands like Tommy Hilfigure, Ralph Lauren etc, but I really didn`t find anything of the stuff they had interesting - i.e. I`ve been shopping for the first time without spending any cash. Finally found my sis a prezzie, so used a little, but wasn`t for me - so I`m so proud.

Tomorrow is St. Patrics day, gonna celebrate it for the first time. Don`t have a clue what it is about, exept that it is an Irish day, and that you supposed to drink Guiness.. Too bad I don`t like dark beer, but guess I`ll always find something else to drink ;) And we gonna have a BBQ, so pretty please, don`t let it rain tomorrow!

The city of sin..

San Diego - Vegas is about a 4-5 hours long drive through the desert, depends on the traffic. Jonas and me was driving, but it wasn`t bad at all when you can drive in like 80-90 mph straight forward. Saw one guy getting pulled over by the highway patrol - everyone was going in the same speed tho, so just shitty luck for him :S But so happy it wasn`t me :DAnd in the middle of no where, what did we find? Oh yeah, ching ching - Vegas Baby! When we arrived it was still day light, and it kinda only looked like a dusy small town, but when the night came with all the neon lights and the casinos started to fill up, it was so sweet! Vegas is known as the city that never sleeps, and in many way it`s so true, cos you stop to care about the time up there, you went to bed when you couldn`t stay awake anymore, and got up again when you woke up ready for more drinking and gamble.

The great thing about Vegas is that no one really cares, you can pretty much do anything you feel like doing and noone will raise an eyebrow. And you can walk around and drink in the streets, and then bring your drink into the next casino.. You also get free drinks when sitting and playing in a casino..pretty much the reason why some of us have some black holes in our memories from the tour. I took so many pics in Vegas so I`ll just post some random pics, mostly cos this internet is so slow so it takes me forever to upload pics... Atleast you get a taste of what it looks like.

Don`t have to go to Paris, New York or Venice anymore, got all the cities in Vegas. It was really cool, specially Venice - they even had gondols sailing around in the water :D Too bad we usual was asleep the time when it was open, so we never got to take one :(

Hard Rock in Vegas was so huge. They had so much stuff there, and a bigbig casino of course - only went for a dinner there, so one casino I didn`t gamble on :) Good girl!

Bellagio - and their great water show! It was awesome, something you def should go and see if you go to Vegas. It`s more then 1000 fountains, and the classic music is just dot the i (if that saying makes any sense in english)..

Ceasar Palace - where we found the Pussycat Dolls.. think the boys liked it there at least ;) It looked really wonderful as well, and I`ve heard from other people that this is the casino they prefer to play on.. as I didn`t do good at all on the casinos I never came around to get a favorite , or maybe I should say Riviera, where a guy who worked there felt soo sorry for me and my luck that he have me 120$ to play on the slot for. Didn`t win a thing tho.. hehe

Us on the top (or almost on the top) of the tower. Look at the view! Vegas is huge, and me who never went other places then the strip.. I`ve seen about all the casinos, but never went downtown.. don`t even know what you can find there.. :/ At the top of the tower it was 3 rides, of course we had to take them.. but if you are really afraid of heights, you better think twice, cos it a loooooooooong way down and 2 of them went outside the edge of the tower...

After the rides we needed some food, first place we found was a cute american 60s inspired diner. We ended of course up with buying burgers and shakes, had to try that while being in the US as well, so why not in Vegas? We always forget that this is america, and everything is huge here, look at the size of the portions, think me and Cathrine would have had enought with 1 portion.. :S but now we alteast know why we get fat over here.

Just woke up.. and I`m so exited about Vegas. 2 days to go then we are off. sweeet! First thing that is flying around in my head. Everyone keeps telling me it`s so cool down there, and there is so many showes we have to go and see as well :)

We have one assignment in on of the classes that has to be a movie, I think mine and Cathrines is going to be an introduction to Vegas or something like that, so we have to do some school down there as well.. but might not be so stupid as I just found out we have mid terms next week, and I have absolutely no idea what I`m supposed to know, even if I did read almost 3 book about it. Guess it means I`m SLOW :S

Else is my throat starting to get better after eating some weird pills that makes your mouth feel drugged, you can buy em in the super markeds so I guess it can`t be that bad.. :)

Today has been a quiet day where we have been doing some school assignment that is due this week.. Not the funniest thing to do, but has to be done right?

Tonya, the landlord was here with a plummer today since the toilet got clogged for the 100th time since we got here. So I had time for a little bike ride today as well, and tried to find a prezzie to my sis without much luck :(

Since we are going to Las Vegas in 4 days I had a few games on FullTilt as well, manage to do 1 finaltable out of 2 mtts, so guess I still know something.. Wonder if they have some low stack omaha cash tables there.. would be fun :) Jonas is browsing the web for wedding chapels - wonder what plans he has for Vegas.. Keep reading the blog and I`ll update you on that front :D

Last days I`ve started to get a cold, probably cos Cathrine had one, and I so desperate tried to pretend like it was hot outside on friday when we had a party :S Anyway, what do you do when you are sneezy and your throat hurts, you go on a bike ride and end up on Cold Stone of course where you buy the best ice creme ever! It`s cloudy today, and not very hot so I pretty much turned into an ice sculpture - But it was awesome, another thing we have to get in Norway!

I managed to spend some cash today as well.. But this is probably the best spent cash that I`ve done down here.. After going up and down on craigslist without much luck me and Jonas went to the store that Kyle showed us an advertisment for, and TATA - Bought some sweet beach cruisers :D
Since I was a lady I even got a basket as well - Hurra! All that for only 120 bucks! Something different from the Norwegian prices - thæts får sjååår :P

So now we going for a bike ride, have to see what it`s good for :)

It`s not 1am yet, and I`ve been up for several hours. Me and Jonas has been downtown and paid our parking fine that we got for being parked in our drive :( And we had a quick stop on the shopping mall to get a few things. Suddenly remembered that my sister has bday in a few days... and I have no idea what to send her.. any ideas?? We also went to have a look in Old Town, I know I have to go back proper one day cos it`s so many things to see there...

Was supposed to go and buy a beach cruiser today, Scotto was off work so he was gonna drive me etc.. but the guy selling had to go out of town for the weekend, so either I have to wait til sunday evening that is soooooo far away.. Or I`ve found a place where you can buy a brand new for only like 110bucks.. and I can always put it on craigslist when I leave :)

Oh well.. time to go out for new adventures. It`s pretty cold today, and cloudy... Probably gonna have a girls night out going on clubs in gaslamp later. Gonna be fun :D

Manage to get out of bed til 10 today *pet on the shoulder* and played a MTT on PKR today, since it was quite a while since last time, and Thomas wanted me to join in. Finished 25th, just outside cash (they started at 20th..) as usual. Think that is my poker curse or something.

Then I went outside and spoke some with the neighbours. John was going on a bike ride, and of course wanted I to join. We went to La Jolla, and up the hill to Mt. Soledad (Don`t know if you remember, but we were there with the ALI bus tour, and it`s the highest place in San Diego). Unfortunately had I forgot my camera at home, and today was of course the day where the sky was so clear and you could see pretty much all San Diego... Guess I have to go back another time as well.

Came home, and had just enough time for a quick shower before it was off to school and our 470 class which we have on Tuesdays. The teacher there is really cool, and we played a fun game about interactivity where we went treasure hunting online.

Came home, and relaxed some, before Jonas wanted to go on a walk on the beach. The weather has been lovely today, and it was 15`c around 10pm. Jonas, Cathrine and me just walked around in PB for a while, enjoying our life here in San Diego :)

Then it was back to do some homework. I`ve pretty much finished my powerpoint assignment today, i.e. one less thing to think about. Gonna get up early tomorrow as well and go canoeing (?) with Cathrine..

Was supposed to start my new lifestyle today with starting to have a normal bedtime, and get up at 10 the latest so I got to see some daylight as well. Went to bed at 2 (as am or atleast will be my normal bedtime), but when Kyle came knocking at the door at 10.30 I was still in bed :( Got out pretty fast, just in time for getting on a bikeride with Ashley, Scott, Kristin (a friend of CJ visiting from the east coast) and my roomie Jonas joined as well.

We went around some in Mission Beach before we decided that we was gonna ride our bikes down til Ocean Beach. The waves down there was HUGE down there! Saw the cutest car down there. I want one of those :D Look how small it is!

After a quick lunch, some walking around and Scott applying for a new job, we went back since Delilah (someone from school) wanted to go hiking with us, but we came back a little late for a hike, so gonna do it another day instead of.

Back in the apartment I was still a little bored, and went with the boys to play some football (or soccer for you americans peeps).

When I got back from playing football, Ashley came over with my camera, and told that she and Scott was going on another bike ride. I found out that I was gonna go over the top today, and went with them. We went to the nicest resort I have ever seen - and relaxed in the jacuzzi - SWEET!

Ended the day with going to an Italian place for a really good pizza - thought I deserved that after being out almost all day ;) But had so much fun today, so now I really gotta buy myself a bike down here...

HAHAHAHAHAHA. OMG - Casper and Jonas really did it today. After going to a bar after school where they actually were allowed to play beer pong - and trying to order 10 drinks each every time, and spending about 200 dollers on drinks in 3 hours they ended up drunk as usual. Then they found out they were hungry so they went to the drive through at Taco Bell.

Think the conversation was something like this:
Casper came up knocking on the window and said "Give me 19 tacos, before I die"
The dude at taco bell "No man, you don`t have a car, go away!
Casper "Give me 23 secound"
Casper running out in the road to get a taxi.
Back in the opening.
Casper "Give me 20 000 tacos"

He ended up with 20 tacos, so the evening was saved. LOOL.

And when they came home Jonas noticed that he had a missed call from me. He called me back, after me trying to tell him that it was only a missed call from me and my phone was less then 1 meter away, I just gave him my phone and he had a lovely conversation with himself. How can I not laugh with the two of them. They are great :D

Some pics from six flag, didn`t take so many as we were kinda busy with taking all the rides.. And we had of course to take a flume - can`t go to a park without getting Cathrine soaked.
Found some clips on youtube - Goliath the ride I think was the worse, and Tatsu (take off the sound cos its really bad), the funniest. Look at this one from Superman - people throw coins and stuff - and we went down alot faster then the items :D

Had to finish the day with something simple - to calm down before we drove back.. and what`s better then then a horse childish roundabout? :D

With Jonas as our driver we were ready to set off to LA. Hadn`t been driving for long before we ran into a queue. Took about 30-40 mins before we found the reason for it.. It had been a car accident, 2 cars that looked pretty smashed.. Kinda dangerous thinking that we usual drive in 80 mph ++ on the freeway..

On our way up there we drove by the Commerce Casino. I belive that`s the casino where the LA poker classic gonna be in a week or so. Wish that farry or galway had made it to go there, then I would be there with my pom-poms ;)

First pic of LA, but we only drove through the city, and it was LARGE! When we saw the sign for Hollywood and started to look around towards the hills and saw the famous Hollywood sign there I realized I was in LA - THE LA. Was a bit weird.. But can`t wait to go back for some shopping

Christine - I think I found heaven for you!! A huge store with only socks! I didn`t have time to go buy you any, but if I find another store like that I`ll go nutz for you :)

Well we finally got our butt in the car and drove up the coast to LA. Didn`t see much of the town tho, BUT I`ve seen the Hollywood sign up in the hill :D (and we are going back to LA so actually see the town and do some shopping another weekend).. cos we decided to only have 1 night there and we had tickets for both Universal Studios and Six flag magic moutain.

We left early friday morning and spent all day at Universal. Was okey, a family theme park really, but we had good fun. When we arrived it was a show at Waterworld (they did a scene from the film Waterworld with Kevin Costner) and OMG, they were good. Must have been alot of stunt men acting there, specially the guy playing Mariner had some big skills on the waterjet! Afterward we took the most things we could.. And I dragged the others with me to the Studio tour as I thought it would be great.. but wasn`t what I thought it was.. and I pretty much fell asleep after 30 min driving around, til I heard the guide say "Wisteria Lane" - I promise you I was awake before he could say anything more, but then I understood that all we got to see was the beginning of the street where they do the outdoors scenes :(... And haha, in the house of horror, first Jonas and Casper screamed at the first live person, trying to spook him - cos they thought he like everyone earlier was a doll, made the guy pretty pissed. And I managed to frighten Casper one time I got stunned, cos I screamed. LOL. Was really the worse horror house I`ve ever been in, and I screamed - dang I guess. hehe

Then we went to a nice motel, where they actually had a spa pool where we all jumped in to relax - so me and Cathrine got to wear our bikinis (the boys had been teasing us alot cos we packed soo much for only 1 night away, BUT we didn`t know what we was supposed to do, so we had brought clothes for every possible situations) - and HAHA, we had bikinis while they had to take a bath in their boxers :D

Saturday we got up early, some of us with more sleep then others since I had been snoring and Cathrine been speaking in her sleep. LOL. the boys were pretty tired, but they woke up really fast when they saw all the rollercoasters. Goliath was the first rollercoaster we saw from the freeway, and I swore I wouldn`t do that one as it looked so bad.. It took me about 4 hours (included 1hour++ wait before I had done it) And OMG, it was scary! 2 of the rides we wanted to take (Deja Vu and Xtreme) was closed, but else we took all the others that was open. Superman was really fun. 6.5 secounds of weightlessness - that one was straight up, and it went FAST! 100 mph in only 7 seconds :S But the craziest was Tatsu was the last ride we took, cos it had the craziest line to get in.. Think we waited more then 90mins (I`m so happy we went there off season, or we would probably only had time to take like 3 or 4 rides in 10hours) - it was a rollercoaster where you kinda lied on your stomach - like you were flying. It was face down, or face up, not face forward like it usual is.. so you saw everything.. And it was so scary, but also so great. I think I said alot of bad words on the way to the top cos I was scared that I would fall down and I just remembered that I`m a bit afraid of heights... BUT what a rush!! Best ride there is in Six flag in LA!! I also tried my first ride today where you were standing.. felt kinda weird, but wasn`t that big of a deal.. :/

After 10(!!) hours in six flag we decided to go home (the time went SOOOOOOO fast), Becca and co were having a party tonight and Jonas & Casper wanted to go there. Me and Cathrine gonna have a sober weekend so we went home. On monday there is a holiday tho, so we never know whats gonna happend tomorrow. If it is a nice weather I`ll go to the beach with the girls somewhere fancy near Downtown (and the place is actually called Downtown, not a nickname as we have back home in Norway) tomorrow, gonna be fun. Now I think I need some sleep.. cos it hasn`t been too much of that the last 3 days.. so feeling a bit tired..

Will post some pictures tomorrow when I get around to import them to my laptop :) Nitenite all.

I`ve heard some people complain that I haven`t been posting anything lately.. nice to know that someone reads this atleast :) I`ve made a survey to find out how many that actully take the trouble to read the things I write..

Think the last week has been ok.. Was on a American-American party last Saturday with beer keg, and the blue and red plastic cup, and alot of drinking games. Was a real fun party. The end of the weekend was shit tho, had a little reality check so just been chilling out and got the usual trot ever since. SD hasn`t been that sunny this week as promised, so no beach :( And ooooh, I forgot to tell that was I was in the Aquapark thingy at campus with Daniel and some other Norwegian boys on Sunday. Was good fun, now I`ve finally seen where he lives as well :) Reminds me of the complex you live in when you go on hols to the Mediterranean countries, and with new Norwegian faces I kinda got a bit homesick :(. That I`ve had alot of freetime on my hand this week has result in me installing the most silly application on Facebook "Friends for sale" - and I love it!! Been buying people like crazy. hehe

Else I`ve been and eaten Sushi for the first time in my life.. was really nice. Might go to Old Town tomorrow for a Valentines dinner with the girls tomorrow after classes and eat Sushi again. Me and Cathrine has been there tonight where the girls (Uhm, it`s actually our neighbours friends, but I like to borrow them as they are really cool! :D ) made the boys (our neighbours) Valentines card and baked them cookies. Since me and Cathrine has started to live the American life we had to do some as well.. Kinda funny since I`ve always thought Valentines was so weird, but Ashley and her roomies made me think it`s sweet. Influence me? Never :P

Hopefull we will get our butt up til LA til the weekend. Talking about doing 2 days where we check out the six flag, and either universial studios/disneyland or just LA and Hollywood. Since we kinda are starting to get to known as the "we-are-going-but-something-comes-up-so-we-dont-go" I won`t get my hope up just yet.. Even tho I really wanna go.

The other day we were a bit bored.. and we found out we hadn`t been to Sea World yet, which is only like a 5mins drive. Bought some Sea World fun cards, which means we can go to Sea World as much as we like till the end of 2008 :) And the States are weird.. even here they got my fingerprint now..

Oh well.. We came a little late (ie 2 hours before they closed, and almost everyone else was on their way home), but just when we came there was a Shamu show. Woohoo, of course we had to go and have a peek. Was pretty cool

Casper was pretty good at the bball thingy since he won a mini Nemo on his first try. Would be something to do to impress a date eh? Nemo is btw 4259 Everts new mascot.

Had to go and have a peek on the Sharks. Was alot of Sharks with a small space.. Feel kinda sad for them.. The thingy in Denmark, can`t remember the name was alot better tho, and the sharks looked happier. LOL

Hege and Casper bought something to feed them with.. only problem was that it was only the ducks that came for it.. the flamingos went to the other side..

Every waterpark has to have some seals... and Sea World fulfil that demand :)

In the end we had a bit more time.. So we went to the part where all the rides where and jumped on the first one.. Was fun, but we got soaked.. specially Hege.. hehe

And I`ve been on a local sports bar and watched my first Super Bowl ever today. Think it was a quite boring game.. so walked home in the 3rd period thingy, stopped at Ryans for a quick chat and still manage to see the end of the 3rd + the 4th period. Says something about how much commerical it is over here.. the 4th period was pretty good tho.. even if the wrong team won.. But congrats Giants.

Can`t say I`ve had the best day today as I found out that someone that me and Hege met out dancing on saturday and brought home stole my ipod on my iphone. Ain`t life just great? Haven`t even used my iphone.. so been on phone with the police and apple today.. but nothing they can do.. same shit as back in Norway. Oh well.. to look at the bright side. Atleast I still got my notebook..

My first poker turnament in US

On saturday morning the 3 of us had the alarm on so we could go to a casino about 20mins from here to play a tournament. To wake up we had to stop for a coffee.. I`ve had alot of Starbucks down here.. Think I`ve found something new to be addicted to, since I`ve stopped to smoke. And look at my adorible pokerface. HEHE

HEH - Alot of the clubs have a tattoo shop in them, or just outside.. Last night when we were on a club I found out why. After alot of Bacardi and other coctails it seemed like a great idea to get an tattoo - but I didn`t have enough cash and lucky for me I didnt have any of my credit cards with me.. This morning when I told the boys about last night - they were practically on the floor laughing. They went out for a while to do some stuff, and when they came back Jonas knocked on my door and told me they had bought me a prezzie. A tattoo ofcourse! LOL

You know you are living the American life when your breakfast is a cheeseburger and fries from the drive through at Carls Jr....

Since it`s really cold in the evenings here, and we needed to save our energy for tomorrow (first we gonna go to a casino in Ocean Side and play a Holdem tournament at 09.00 :O, then we gonna go dancing downtown in the evening), the boys went to see Rambo - Me and Hege went to do what girls usual do.. shopping :D Had one shopping mall left that we hadnt been to.. so Mission Valley was our target for the evening. After a few hours walking around in only 4 stores (yeah I know.. something went wrong, but it was so much to see in each store!) the mall closed :( Me and Hege then remembered we had not had anything to eat since breakfast, so we decided to have some asian food - and I had my first fortune cookie! Mine said "You are going to have a very comfortable life" can`t complain about that one - I hope it continues like that, as I feel I already have a comfortable life.. hehe

Biggest storm of the year due late Saturday. I think they said that San Diego had like 15 days with rain during the year, or something like that.. and it looks like all of them will come while we are here.

And I`ve had my first week at Uni.. Doesn`t look to bad.. think I can actually do this :D
The professors are pretty cool. The biggest difference from back home is that it`s kinda what high school is in Norway. You get homework - this is what you have to do til next class, this is what we gonna do this session. When you done you can leave.. ect. And it seems like it`s ALOT easier to get a good grade here then back home. Cos everything is about points, and not how you do on the one exam you have.

Was out in PB last night, and somehow Hege manage to bring a few swedes back to the apartment with her. They finally left, so now I can have my bed back. Sweet :) Only one problem tho.. I`m not tired anymore :(

This is what our hotell room looked like the day before we left.. Let me just put it this way.. with 5 people it doesn`t matter how good the cleaning lady is.. After 5 minutes is looked bombed again.

This is outside out apartment :) Lots of space to bbq.. Gonna be fun. And you can see our car.. I drove an automatic for the first time today! The guys were out longboarding, so me and Hege went shopping for some healthy food. Wasn`t hard to drive at all, exept you had to be soooo carefull when you break compared to my car back in Norway.. Might take a little while to get used to it.. but I can do it! Gonna take the Californian drivers licence this week I think. Will be great to be able to walk around without my passport, as they don`t accept our drivers licence or visa as ID here...

Livingroom, kitchen, bath and my bedroom. Not the best pics, but better then nothing right? And erhm.. I was still unpacking.. it looks better now.. promise! I like the place, it`s big enought for us, the only bad thing is that it`s only one bath.. Happy we only have late classes and not start like 8am...

Went over to the neighbour Ryan to continue the celebration even if Chargers lost.. Sometime during the evening some other norwegians from HiB came to see the place they gonna crash when they down in PB drinking. :P And I`ve found out I got an couch reserved in their house whenever we are doing something at school. Not sure they know about it tho :P

This is the beach I gonna be lying at every day in month or so.. and it`s only 0.4 miles away :) Ain`t life great??

Apartment!!

We finally found an apartment today!! In the heart of PB, only 0.4 miles from the beach! :D
Gonna move in tomorrow - can`t describe how happy I am atm! No more hotell shit for a while ;)
